I love that quote, because it is true. If you are looking for affordable boudoir photography, the question is what is affordable to you?
There are people who drive used cars because that is all they can afford. Others drive a Tesla, Lamborghini or Porsche. They value the ride, quality and prestige it offers. Comfort and experience plays a roll from vehicle, to mattress, to boudoir photography.
People find a way to afford things they value.
Those looking for cheap boudoir photography miss the point of boudoir. If you just want some photos of you to send your guy or post on social media, then cheap is fine. (As long as you have a safe boudoir photoshoot.)
If you have body confidence issues and want an experience that empowers you and builds your self-confidence, then cheap may not work.
Cheap boudoir photography
No one can afford to work for free. There is studio expense, camera equipment, computers, memory storage, insurance, electricity, water & heat, internet … you get the idea. That is all before the photographer draws a salary to pay personal expenses.
So if you have a cheap boudoir photographer, they have to be cutting corners somewhere. They may only offer a short session, which limits your ability to become comfortable and get the best photos. Perhaps they don’t offer editing/retouch services, or if they do, it is a simple skin softening filter. Or you may be losing out on quality of images, experience or both.

Is luxury boudoir photography affordable?
A luxury boudoir photoshoot is a rewarding experience. You get pre-shoot help with planning. The photographer will learn your likes and dislikes so they can tailor the shoot to you.
From the moment you step into the studio you will feel like a star as you are pampered in the makeup chair. Then your personal photographer will coach you on how to pose head to toe as you relax in a beautiful boudoir setting.
You aren’t rushed, you’ll go from nervous to feeling like a supermodel. Your confidence will grow with each photo. By the end of the session, you’ll feel like you are ready to take on the world!
While every boudoir photographer is different, at my studio, I handle all photo editing and retouches. This keeps your images private, where some photographers will send the photos out to an editing service.
I give your images a magazine quality retouch to provide you with the highest quality available. You get my full attention, unlike the photographer who cuts corners.
