Modest Boudoir Photo Shoot Ideas
If the eyes are the window to the soul, let’s share that in your photos. Instead of full body shots, let’s move in a bit closer to focus more on your beautiful face. Don’t worry, my in-house makeup artist will work with you to have you looking and feeling your best!
Here are a couple of examples of what I mean …
The first is a mirror shot, which adds an extra dimension to the scene. You can see some cleavage, but most of her skin is hidden. we used a crop and pose to hide her stomach in this shot. It is still very sensual, but also, very modest.
And the second shot is from a Holiday Boudoir photo shoot. The flannel shirt keeps her covered, but the lighting, look and mood are boudoir sensual!
Hopefully these examples help you understand that you don’t have to pose in lingerie or naked to be sexy and sensual. Talk to your boudoir photographer in advance and let them know you want a modest boudoir shoot. He or she can then plan for poses that will help you stay comfortable.
Modest Boudoir Photo Outfit Ideas
So what should you wear to maintain your modesty? Here are some ideas that may help:
Sweaters
Dresses
Boudoir in a dress? Not a problem! You can look amazing in a dress or your favorite outfit, so go for it!
Jackets
Another modest boudoir outfit accessory. Jackets keep you covered and add to the overall layering look of the shot.
Button Down Shirts
Either your own, or your man’s a button down shirt gives you plenty of options. You can stay completely covered or offer glimpses of shoulders, cleavage, tummy or backside.
Robes
A robe is natural for boudoir. It creates a lingerie vibe yet still offers plenty of concealment.
The best part about modest boudoir outfits is that you don’t have to buy anything if you don’t want to. Chances are you already have what you need in your closet.
